All 128 Garda beaches are all balneable

This was announced by the Garda Community: "Lake Garda confirms its positive trend with respect to the quality of its waters. The 128 points checked and analysed, located along the entire Garda coastline, as indicated by the Ministry of Health, are all bathing".


"In addition," the Community reports, "the entire body of water continues to move towards oligotrophy, i.e. the original state of Lake Garda's waters, as per the Edmund Mach Foundation report.


"This is certainly more than excellent news," commented the secretary general of the Garda Community, Pierlucio Ceresa, "which it is only right to mention, and which also adds to the excellent level of the waters above the hydrometric zero".


It is worth remembering that today, Wednesday 2 August, the Garda water level exceeds one metre above the hydrometric zero, touching 101.1 cm, a level that was unthinkable until a few months ago. Among other things, today an inflow of 78.9 cubic metres per second was recorded against an outflow of 70 mc/s (for info and data: www.laghi.net).
