Bad weather, 375 cubic metres of timber recovered from the lake

"Up to this moment," the fire brigade of Riva del Garda informed around 5 p.m. today, Monday 28, "about 375 cubic metres of timber have been recovered (about 15 trucks)".


The firemen want to underline "that thanks to this heavy intervention carried out by the volunteers, it will be possible to quickly restore the beaches and water areas that are useful to all the economic and sporting activities that are on the lake.

Obviously, it is normal for some of the floating debris to escape pushed by the strong current and wind created at the mouth, which is why we recommend extreme caution when navigating".


The intervention, which began at 5.30 this morning, will continue until dusk.
