Access to the ztl is allowed to residents (including relatives and relatives-in-law), those who have a business in the village, hotels and accommodation facilities (including customers only for loading and unloading luggage at the beginning and end of their stay) and people with disabilities whose cars have the appropriate badge (the complete list is available in the ordinance, attached at the bottom of this page).
We would like to remind you that from 24 June Trentino Trasporti has activated a new free bus service from Riva del Garda to Pregasina and back; the bus stops at the "Regina Mundi" belvedere, the connection is active only on Saturdays and public holidays (timetable in the attached poster).
The service will also be active on Monday 14 and Tuesday 15 August, at the expense of the municipal administration, to meet the needs of residents and tourists who would like to participate in the guest festival in Pregasina.
The ztl will be active until 30 September.
"The initiative is motivated by the need to guarantee safe mobility in Pregasina,' explains the councillor for the hamlets and neighbourhoods, Luca Grazioli, 'a village connected to the rest of the road network by a single road, the characteristics of which are not adequate to accommodate the considerable influx of summer tourists, not only of vehicles but also of motorbikes, bicycles and pedestrians; another reason is the insufficient number of parking spaces available. And more generally, the residents' request to put a stop to the situation of overcrowding, chaos and danger typical of the summer period. Our aim is to safeguard the territory and protect the environment from the wild and unmanageable flow of traffic, especially at weekends. This is why I consider important the administration's initiative to activate the shuttle bus on the days of the Festa dell'ospite, which we strongly desired in order to fully respond to the needs of residents".
