€3 Million call for proposals from the Veneto Region

12 May 2026

This is one of the key requirements for accessing the funding provided by the call issued by the Veneto Region.

Businesses and facilities that follow the guidelines of the Garda Green protocol and use the tools provided by the project are already able to assess their environmental impact and plan its progressive reduction (following the principles of ISO 14064 and ISO 14046):

  1. Annual energy consumption from fossil fuels;
  2. Annual energy consumption from renewable sources;
  3. Waste produced;
  4. Annual water consumption;
  5. Air/water/soil emissions (individual emissions).

These are the factors that the Veneto Region requires to be measured and reduced in order to grant non-repayable contributions of around 40%, with the remaining amount financed at subsidized interest rates, to SMEs investing between €50,000 and €150,000 in innovation projects over an 18-month period.

This represents a real innovation and confirms how sustainability reporting and environmental impact assessment are becoming increasingly essential, valuable, and strategic in corporate decision-making processes.

The proof lies in the list of information required by the call for proposals.

Specifically, Call 1.1.3-SubB, expiring on May 21, 2026, adopts a measure aimed at implementing process innovation projects related to the application of a new or significantly improved production or distribution method (including significant changes in techniques, equipment, or software) at company level (or at group level within the relevant industrial sector in the EEA), for example through the use of new or innovative digital technologies or solutions.

The call also supports organizational innovation projects related to the implementation of a new organizational method at company level (or at group level within the relevant industrial sector in the EEA), concerning workplace organization or the company’s external relations, for example through the use of new or innovative digital technologies.
